I have been working on a new php settings class. It uses ShySQL to handle the database calls, but it runs a simple to use SQL config system. So instead of having a hardcoded config file you can have a dynamic MySQL config system.
It almost works with older versions of ShySQL, but I had to add a new function that let me get the prefix to create the settings table on the fly.

I been raiding 3 times this week again on WoW. I was a bit rusty at it, but managed to get back into the healing job. I am a Holy Pally for those that care.
I have yet to raid Ruby Sanctum yet. It looks like a good raid, but have not been interested in going with 9 people I do not know.
Also Balthemos dragged me into another guild so I can raid with him… so I guess that means I will be raiding more.
Anyways I guess I will try to post more.

Blizzard has sold out round 1 tickets just a few minutes ago. The sell started at 7pm PST and ended only 24 minutes later.
Even with the first round sold out, there is still June 5th at 10pm PST. Another fun round of waiting in line and hoping you were quick on your click. Clicks over a few seconds after the start are doomed not to get tickets.
Tickets are also starting to show up on Ebay for much higher prices.

Over the last few weeks I have heard a lot about Google’s big mistake of collecting data with the street view cars. If you have not heard the story, then this is a summery.
Google a few weeks back announced that it had collected 600 GB’s of data from unencrypted wireless networks. This data is only fragments of information as the street view cars passed the locations. This is not like the car was sitting outside your house for a day watching you.
The error was with a bit of code reused in the project. The code was written with a small packet collector. The code made it into this project unknowingly. After awhile it seems they noticed something odd and uncovered the information.
Google however announced they had made the mistake and asked what they should do with it. To me they should destroy it. However countries are asking to investigate the data. This means putting data into the hands of people that had no part in it, and could get greedy with it.
I like what Google is doing here. They are putting it out that they made a mistake. This error is in new grounds as it is a world wide issue. They are helping pave a path that is fair. If it was a smaller company the data might just be seized, but doing this with Google could backlash and get others into legal issues.
Destroy the data Google and move on. Do not trust the data with anyone else, your doing the right thing.
